We were asked to design some visuals for Rush‘s 2010 Time Machine tour. These 40′x20′ steampunk-inspired screens will frame live and archive footage of the legendary Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Niel Peart as they tour North America over the Summer and early Fall.

Switch Interactive and I produced this little bit of PR under a ridiculous timeline. We knew it was worth it when when the video received a standing ovation from a stadium full of students after its debut. The subsequent awards it would go on to earn were nice as well.

Created while at Switch, we utilized the talents of their entire team to produce the interface designs, animation, and special effects for this entirely greenscreen-shot spectacle. Our contribution was in directing the live performance, shooting, editing, and compositing.
