I’ll be teaching an advanced motion design course at Vancouver Film School this term.  Motion Design 4 will will explore the history of title design, analyzing film for theme and composition, understanding storytelling, semiotics, film/TV branding.

Switch Interactive – Inside/Out

Inside/Out is a promotional video for Switch Interactive to showcase the company’s assorted abilities. Created while at Switch, we utilized the talents of their entire team to produce the interface designs, animation, and special effects for this entirely greenscreen-shot spectacle. Our contribution was in directing the live performance, shooting, editing, and compositing.

Session 3: Gaze revisits Jon Berger’s woman watching herself being looked at.
Session 4: Spectacle was based on Guy Debord’s seminal book.
